I assumed 4-40 for my 2013 American Series Strat saddle height screws but I was wrong. I need something with finer threads and smaller diameter. Any one know what I need? Thanks!!

Maybe the 4-48 as shown on this catalog page http://www.stratcat.biz/hardware-screws-saddle-height.shtml

Thanks. That's the company I ordered the 4-40's from. I probably would have been better off just asking their advice. Thanks again.
(edited to add...I am very impressed with this company's turn around time on my order by the way)

What do you mean by "American Series"? The American Special has a different bridge than the American Standard.

It's getting hard for me to keep track! This is the Standard with the 2 1/16'' saddle width.

Is this your guitar's Service Diagram - American Standard Stratocaster 2012 - 0113000xxx? I don't find a model for 2013.
http://support.fender.com/service_diagrams/stratocaster/011-3000A_SISD.pdf

These are what they specify:
23E - SCREW M4-40 X 5/8 RHP NI #0015693049
23F - SCREW M8-32 X 3/8 FHP NI #0019656049

I think you need to be exact about the model you have or submit pictures so we can decide.

Hi Danagos. Thanks for the breakdown. This is the American Standard with the 2 1/16" wide bent steel saddles. I have no decent camera for a good photo I'm afraid. Those M8-32 size look interesting. I sent an email off to Fender support just now. I'll post what they have to say. Thanks again!

The saddle height adjustment screws for an American Standard are #4-40, and two different lengths, shorter for the high and low E saddles (1/4"?), and a little longer for the others (5/16"?). The intonation screws are #8-32.

If the 4-40 do not fit, then maybe you have an American Special, or something else? I believe that the American special uses metric screws for the saddle height adjustment, as do the import models. M3 x .5 maybe?

Pictures of your guitar might help, not just bridge pictures, but the whole guitar.

Just to be sure that you indeed have an American Standard, and it is stock.

For example, a shot like this can show the difference between Am Std and Am Spcl saddles.
