Can anyone tell me if I can change out the noiseless PUPs with Texas special? Is it a hard thing to do? Do I eliminate the S1 switch? I really just wanted to change the bridge PUP.Any help would be great.
Thanks

You can , this pu may be "noisy " is a regular single coil

Easy ? Yes if you have some skill and basic tool like good soldering iron . It look you are not , better to see a qualified tech.
Hardest soldering for a beginner is to solder the ground to a pot body .

With some practice on old pieces of wire before doing the job is a good way to learn and usefull too. Sure it may have some videos on YouTube

You don't need to eliminate S1 switch

The important thing before replacing any pickup in the S1 system is ensuring the polarity and phase will produce the correct relationships you are after.
Polarity of the magnet can be easily checked using a cheap compass which wil point in the same direction with similar pickups.
I have found that often this is not the case with the SCNs combined with custom shop pickups.
Not sure with the N3s (though I intend having some of those eventually and will be able to make a comparison)
I have certainly wired up a texas neck with a 69 mid and a fat 50s bridge with the S1 with no issues since they all had the same phase and polarity but could not use the RWRP texas mid or an SCN without phasing issues in some switch positions.
Of course this really depends on the sound you are after. :D
