Is it possible to get a bridge cover for this type of bridge? The one I ordered does not fit.[img][img][/img][/img]/Users/jimclayton/Desktop/IMG_0065.jpg

IIRC, the Bridge Cover, aka Ashtray will only fit the 6-point Vintage Bridge.

cheers!

Correct. The bridge cover requires a vintage-spec bridge with 2-7/32" string spacing, either the tremolo type or a hardtail.

I'm told that it will fit on a MIM bridge...but not very securely. Reports of using magnets have been seen...

For us, over here, its a $10 experiment. Might be more for you, over there. And...if it doesn't work out, you've got a nice, shiny ashtray.

Cheers.

For those MIM Strats using the vintage-spec bridge (Classic Series 50's, 60's, 70's, the Roadworns, and some signature models like the Cray) the bridge cover fits perfectly.
