Well it is "possible" if you purchase a John Mayer Strat and swap the neck with a 70's. But then it is technically not John Mayer Strat anymore. It would probably be more economical if this is something you really want to purchase a 70's reissue with a rosewood fingerboard and swap out the pickups to the "Big Dipper" ones used in his signature strat.
