Dear people,

I have a guitar here at home, and I don't know anything about it. The guitar mentions that is a 'Fender Squier Stratocaster' from the 'pro tone series', crafted in Korea C/N 7061957.

Since I don't know anything about it I would like to get some help to identify this guitar. Can it be real? Is it worth something?

Thanks for helping.

Hi WimD20,

The "Pro Tone Series" Strats are very nice guitars. Post some pictures and maybe we can ID it.

Delete your duplicate thread using the "X" in the lower left of that post.

Made by Cort, in Korea, in 1997, right?

Only the headstock decal is changed (to protect the guilty).

I indead meant 'pro tone'

And the guitar mentions 'crafted in Korea' so I guess it was made there

I just don't know anything about it as I don't play guitar. I also think one of the strings is replaced, and two are broken.

String replacements are a routine procedure. If unsure how to proceed, take the instrument to your local guitar shop -- it shouldn't take longer than fifteen minutes nor cost more than fifteen dollars.
