It weighs in around 6lb's and very well balanced I must say, I was a bit worried it might be neck heavy but this was not the case

Nice ... what are you thoughts on the all rosewood neck? :D
Not too sound negative since I the look but I presume that large crack is stable and won't get any worse! :D

That huge crack on the top right image would have me worried. Even if the surface is filled in, that's a major weakness.

The "crack" is fine, it will be exactly the same in 50 years.

The woodgrain on this axe is fantastic! :P

The overall look would be perfect if Fender adds matte black hardware to match the plastic parts.

That's sweet! Like the rosewood neck... black pick guard and pup covers... Nice looking Strat. Bet the tone has a nice "snap" with a bit of added warmth to it 8)

Awesome...
It's good to see Fender using reclaimed North American wood. We have vast "forests" of high quality wood in our cities, in buildings that are being torn down every day. Most of it goes into particle board, charcoal, or EFW.

My only gripe is the lack of matching matte black hardware to compliment the black plastic parts.

This guitar rocks!
