Classic Black Strat. Can't go wrong there. :)

I like the aged white/cream knobs, nice touch.
Put a color matched pearloid pick guard and drool at how sweet it looks now.

I got my first Strat in 1991 a new American Strat Plus Deluxe in crimson red burst with black edges. Beautiful. I still have this Strat. It has Lace Sensors red, silver, and blue.
Some don't like the Sensors but I loved them then and still do now.
Great tone and as quiet as a HB even on extreme gain amps.

I always loved the tone and look of LP's so a few months ago I bought a new
LP Standard with a "plus" top. Gorgeous guitar, great tones. But, I discovered that I am not an LP player. Access to the upper frets sucks, and the neck doesn't feel quite right. Returned it and got a 2014 ESP Eclipse with passive Duncan pup's, much better feel and easy to play.

It is my opinion that every guitar player should have a least one SSS Strat and 1 HB guitar, and with those you can cover the wide range of Rock n Roll.

My "WOW" moment is getting a Hot Rod DLX3 amp. I stayed away from Fender amps for I don't know why reasons. The HR DLX may not be THE Fender amp, but I love the clean tones from it. It quickly and easily reminds me of THAT Fender tone, chimey, warm, yet bright all at the same time.
A Fender Strat into a Fender amp is a sonic love match.

Don't limit your tonal palette with just one guitar type or amp type.
My Strat into my Egnater Vengeance on high gain is as fantastic as my ESP Eclipse into
the HR DLX3.

Hi there rogue,

Congrats on the great new Strat!

I'm excited to get one of these in the near future as well.
Deciding on which color is a little daunting for me though.

Enjoy your new axe!
