I know people have asked this, but I've tried graphite on the arm (the end and the thread) but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

By the way, it's an American Standard Strat.

A dab of lithium grease should do the job.

Lipsyl comes in a handy container you can keep in your guitar case.

Something that every household has on hand can save you a trip to the hardware store if stuck for a lubricant and that's simply rubbing the treads on a bar of soap-works like a charm.BTW doesn't make a good lube substitute for K-Y Jelly (not speaking from experience)...lol.
