The color reminds me of my Candy Green Eric Clapton Strat.

I thought the candy green was a metallic paint no?

EDIT* I just checked and it is metalic, but just a lighter shade of green. Pretty close though! As for signature model strats go the only one I would own would be The Ventures Model. Not for playbility but for wall art...LOL Just not my thing. I don't consider a les paul a sig model either...lol

Yes, it is metallic, but in the right light, you don't notice too much. Also, your's looks metallic.

Man, you have all the paperwork too??? Lol that's awesome! And yes, they sound very different than the strats of today! I actually prefer the tone of these late 80's over any other vintage. I can't help but wonder how close the serial numbers are? And I want that freaking mirror!!! Lol thank you for posting!!!!

Always good to see another one. Seems they all had rosewood fingerboards? Never saw a maple neck version.

yeah, I have never seen a maple version either. All the magazine adds I remember were also rosewood, and to be honest I like the rosewood for strats better anyway! Warmer and softer. I have a tele and a mosrite with maple boards, so I don't need a strat with one. This is my all time favorite guitar with a maple board, and nothing will ever come close to it...

That´s a super nice Mosrite, looks like a custom made one-off?

The color reminds me of British Racing Green...never had the chance to play one, they must be pretty rare on this planet. Cool, you really love green guitars, so the Tanqueray is a logical addition!! I agree, the rosewood looks nicer on the Strat.

There were two of them at least that I know of, but here's the thing, Mosrite in the late 80's (Mosrite 1988) was all kind of limited. Semie was dying and he knew it. Mosrite of California went bankrupt in the '70's so this was his last hoorah and he knew it. No mass production what so ever. All made in a barn with his family. Jonas Ridge NC. youtube it... you will see semie working there living in a trailer... sad really.
