Sorry.
No picks to post at this time.
In a local shop.

Daphne Blue Body
Made in USA on back of headstock
White pickguard with 3 white covered NOISELESS pups
Vintage 6 screw tremolo with FENDER stamped in saddles
Neck was finished in a vintage lacquer color but had a satin feel...
Spaghetti logo with words "with synchronized tremolo" in small text below.
the tuners were not vintage looking clue sons but rather what I consider the modern fender tuner that is squared on one side and rounded on the other with a chrome button

Anybody hazard a guess?
Tim

Without pics I can't even hazard a guess. Plus I'd hate to tell you it's a US Standard Strat then realise it's a Squier Affinity with a fake decal.

" clue sons " ..... Kluson ... nor clouseau.

Let's see without a serial number or pics it's a bit difficult to answer your question...
You could buy the guitar then post pics....

The lettering in the back of the headstock looks suspicious :x possibly a fake

A 2012 American Standard should have the US12 digits for the serial number.

Definitely not a genuine Fender.

Yes, it is definitely a fake. :(

The 12th-fret dot spacing is the giveaway......it's as phony as any politician promising tax reform.

i have a problem with ...

(1) serial number being askew
(2) string tree does not belong on a 62 reissue
(3) seems to be a long space between nut and truss rod walnut insert ?
(4) that neck is too long above the nut to the curves

I wouldn't buy...

Yep.
They let me pull the neck. Paint in the pocket. Angled neckplate screws. Nothing stamped in pocket or base of neck. Interesting thing is that the logo was not a decal but like it was silkscreened on.
It did have a set of Fender noiseless (or what appeared to be) and a vintage trem. She was into it for $300 and asked me what it was worth to me. I couldn't offer anything ad I had no use.
I was mistaken. The neck was glossy but had been sanded. It was glossy near the fret edges.
