Hi am new and my question is "the space between strings is it the same for all electric guitars. Which one has the most space between strings."

Your question is based on a false premise -- string spacing is not the same for all guitars.

Are you looking for general information about different string spacing by brand (Fender, Gibson, PRS, etc.,)?

Read the sentences again people. The first is a question without using a comma or question mark.

Spacing does vary with the nut width. Wider the nut, wider the spacing...

As someone in the same boat not too many months ago (±20), I think I know what the OP is driving at.

Either the strings are spaced too wide and he has difficulty reaching them all... they are spaced too close and it's difficult to make chords w/o buzzing the adjacent string(s)

If these are his concerns, I can say that Practice (and LOTS of it), will eventually cure these ills.

If, OTOH, the OP has some condition which requires a specific spacing, then as others have said String Spacing varies w/ Nut width. Also, the Bridge and Pickup alignment can also be limiting factors.

cheers!

Thanks for the input. My iPhone is not the best forum writer. I will try to keep my gramer and sentence structure in check in the future.
