I'm waiting on delivery of this model (Deluxe Player - Blue w/ rosewood fretboard)

Can't wait. I do have a Nashville Tele. Wanted a Strat and after many days of indecision.....I've gone with this. Any comments from current owners??

I just checked that guitar out online and I'd like one too :!:

Seems sweet with Ash body, Noiseless pups and switch to turn the bridge pup on in pos 4 & 5 and a 12" radius neck. :D

Let us know how you like it, fit, finish and quality and some pics, of course :!:

Does it look like this stock photo :?:

I owned the Hny Blnd MN version of the Deluxe Players Strat, a nice guitar. The noiseless pups are a bit different, some like them, some don't, I thought that they were pretty good, not a lot of character, but great for clean playing. My favorite thing was the push-button to add the bridge pup in the pup selector switch positions 4 and 5, especially 5. The neck/bridge combination sounds very tele-like. Congrats!

Both are beautiful looking guitars - if they play as good as they look they'll be fantastic :D

I like mine but at some point it will get sold and I'll likely get an AM Std Strat. My DP Strat needs to be intonated more often than I think it should be. Seems to me the issue is in the bridge which cannot be replaced by Fender's American parts.

The VN pick ups are not bad but they are a bit of an acquired taste.

I love the 12" radius neck, I wish Fender would put that on or make it available on Am Strats.

The MIA vintage trem bridge with 2-7/32" string spacing and steel trem block *should* be a drop-in replacement. I've performed that upgrade at least a half dozen times for clients.

Indeed it is.

Also available in chrome for folks who don't care for gold bling. Fender's Strat ashtray fits this bridge.

Cool thanks, I had heard the MIA bridge parts did not match the screw holes of the MIM stuf but iof you've done this that is good news. Thanks again

That Dlx Player is a nice start into the World of Electric Blues :!:

I made that leap 5 years ago. My best advice is get as good an amp, for your needs, as you can.

G'day, my build used a DP body and neck.
American spec vintage trem went straight in - no worries.

Thanks Arjay, yeah, I satisfied my gold fetish in one Strat. The MIM stuff is great, especially the DP.
