Beautiful Guitar Arjay! Congrats!

BUT, did you find out anymore about that SKUNKWORKS Vibrolux??

"SKUNKWORKS"

Ironically, I did not -- apparently those guys at the store know less about Fender's new amps than do we forum members. Of course I'll still be pursuing that amp and the ultimate disposition of the rumors. The latest that I've heard is, it was tabled temporarily in order to tweak the circuitry a skosh more. It *may* be released next month -- it will make me a fine birthday gift and a nice counterpoint to this new Strat.

Hey......a new guitar always rates a new amp, doesn't it?

Yunno the spec sheet would likely say yes. But it (and the knobs, covers, etc) looks more like parchment to my eye.

I rather like it on this particular guitar. The mint green pickguards can often make a guitar look "dingy".

Why Yes it does...just as any new amp deserves a new guitar!

Congrats and this surely rates a Huge SCHWEET on the T2 Scale.

Hold the saccharine, aspartame, and nutra-sweet though.

And no GMO's please.

Thanks, RGM!

I did a little workup on it with my '64 Vibroverb this afternoon......prolly the closest to SRV tone that I've ever been able to replicate.

Thanks!

The more I play it, the more it reminds me of a 3TSB '63 I once owned -- it's as comfortable to play as my oldest pair of Dockers are to wear.

You can still get into your oldest pair of Dockers..? I'm not sure I can.

Now I have this picture in my head of you in your Dockers, strumming away...

But yes, nice guitar. :D
