I think it's an '85-86 MIJ Contemporary Strat with a Schaller System I Bridge. I'm not an enthusiast, someone else here can give a better answer. :)

So, it's an early MIJ model and looks to be stock. The finish being described as "looks great, metal flake? all smooth and perfect.", is a big plus.

Seems like a great deal and with the Deluxe Reverb amp, bordering on unbelievable.

You should have presented a picture of the entire headstock and one of each side of the entire guitar.

Guess that being "part man, part boy and also part girl!" is working out for you. :D

No, that's not a System 1 trem on that guitar; that's a Schaller-built Floyd Rose II which was originally a lower-cost bridge first used on imported Kramers in the mid-to-late 1980s. Fender didn't use Floyd-branded trems until after they became the distributor for Floyd Rose about 1991.

It could be some kind of factory model that used up some old parts (the "C" serial number MIJs are supposed to be from 1985-86) or it could be a 1985-86 MIJ Standard that has been modded. If it was modded then whomever did the mods did a really nice job of it.

I have also seen a similar post with the exact guitar in cream.
plug in the same neck serial and you get this "Unknown" strat with similar comments about the trem being lower cost Jackson or Kramer version.

Im somewhat an enthusiast and will keep it stock, I believe it to be stock and some kind of weird guitar.

Please see photos of the back and sides and headstock.

thanks you the help!

You may consider sending the serial # to Fender: consumerrelations@fender.com
