Hey, Shimmy! Why not posting a video showing us your baby in action? Or a few sound samples?

I really wonder how amazing are the tones coming from those fat 50's singles! :P

Sweet!!!!
I wanted one from the moment I saw it, I ended with the 1954 model and hoped I would be lucky enough to get one of the ones with the stamped neck plate but no cigar, still very pleased with the one I got. Anyway enjoy that sweet guitar.

Nice! Those sure are pretty (and Sweetwater does take really good photos of their in-stock instruments).

I just might do that chromeface, it's been a while since I made a video. The pups do sound wonderful, all of the adjectives apply, clean, clear, rich, full, beefy, jangly, bell-like, and as pointed out, the pups are CS '54s. Something that didn't occur to me until I played the guitar, the '54s appear to not be RWRP for the middle pup, so no noise cancelling. However, there is not much noise/hum anyway, so no problem.

I have to wear a drool bucket myself (Monty Python reference), to keep it off of the guitar.

I got one of those from GC a couple of weeks ago and you are correct they are awesome. This 54 Comm Strat is my first Fender guitar and I am loving it. Long time user of Fender amps. Your praises of Sweetwater are encouraging me to try them the next time I need a guitar. I've used them for other stuff just never bought a guitar there, you know had to lay my hands on it first. Gibson's Ive had in the past were so inconsistent that you had to test drive every one to make sure you didn't get a dud. Enjoy
Dave
