Was wondering if they are closed? Watched their YouTube video on Road Worn Strats and tried to check them out but no luck. Website is redirected and phone is disconnected. The mods they do on that model seem sweet. Does anyone have one of their guitars? I should have a NGD post soon.

I never heard of them but I googled them and found their facebook page saying they're closing shop. But that toneshaper? wasn't, so I looked that up and found this

http://www.toneshapers.com/

Thanks..looked like they did a fair amount on stock guitars. Must have been too costly. Wish I could have got a 60's road worn.

Interesting.

Acme closed shop several months ago which was a shame because I bought a lot of stuff from them.

George Ellison is the same guy who ran Acme. Now he has started Toneshapers which appears to be selling much of the same stuff that he sold as Acme.

Interesting.

There was a post about it on their facebook page. I think it comes down to the focus being the toneshaper stuff. I presume that is the product that was providing most of his business.

Why close down one business and then open up another with most of the same stuff in it? Everything that is on the Tone Shapers site was available though the Acme site.

Sorry to hear that Acme is closed but the ToneShapers website looks remarkable similar, from what I can remember, seems like the same products. Maybe it's just a brand name change.

http://www.toneshapers.com/

Seems like yesterday, but I guess it was last summer that I bought a Callaham Bridge and Fralin Blender Pot from them. I had some questions and George Ellison picked up his own phone and talked to me about his products and that's rare these days. Hope that hasn't changed.
