Hi, I'm new to the forums and tought i would ask for a little help here. I bought a fender squier classic vibe 50's strat about two months ago. I was just on vacation for about 1 and a half weeks, and when i came back home i noticed that the string height had changed by quite a bit (don't know why, drafty windows maybe ?).

So should i try to change the string height just by adjusting the bridge or mess around with the truss rod / both ?

Thanks !

ps. Not a native english speaker, sorry if there are some mistakes :)

Hi Problem, welcome to the forum. :)

You might want to check the setup guide for reference. There is a lot of info, but take some time and read it over.

+1

Likely you have some humidity issues which require a truss-rod adjustment to the neck. Carefully read the set-up guide which shimmilou has provided and work patiently. It's possible that multiple adjustments over a period of time may be needed.

Thanks a lot for the quick replies, i'll study the guide and try to adjust the truss rod carefully.
