Hi, I am new to the forums and am just wondering what is the name of the color of my '98 Fender American Standard Strat?

It is silvery, but has a touch of kind of a champagne color mixed in.

Also, the finish is not yellowed, it looks the same under the pickguard. Image

With your information and photo ;

I have the Fender Frontline 1998 magazine . Your guitar look to be the Roadhouse Strat in 845 teal green metalic , page 30-31

Roadhouse is same as American standard except it has three "Fender Texas Special " pickups

Your bridge pickups is not original

Wow, that's a nice catch, it is a roadhouse strat I think. It has the non staggered texas specials, pearloid pickguard, and fits all the specs of that model. I am not sure if that's the right color or not though... I found all the specs of the model and think it is a sort of shoreline gold.

Thanks so much for your help in identifying the model!

The colour of your Strat is Shoreline Gold as it was listed as a colour for the Roadhouse Strat.

+1

With a slight color shift due to age.

Arjay

It's a Roadhouse Strat (American Strat Texas Special) which has been modified with a Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck Junior in the bridge position.

I got about a week ago. Pickup measures about 13k and says 1B on the bottom. Pretty high output, but I still think it is a little '59

By the way I just have to share, I got it off of CL for $300 with the deluxe case included :D

How do you know that's a JB Jr and not a Little'59? The two models look identical -- 12 screw poles.

Little'59 is spec'd at 11.78K for the bridge model. The JB Jr is spec'd at 16.09K for the bridge model.

The Li'l Screamin' Demon is spec'd at 13.35K for the bridge model, but it has 6 slotted poles and 6 hex poles.

Measuring in-circuit without disconnecting the pickup throws off the readings a little, so it's more likely a Little'59.

But Duncan single-coil sized humbuckers usually have a paper label on the bottom with the full model name, not just "1B". It should say either "SJBJ-1B" or "SL59-1B". Is the label torn or something?

Nope, a fully intact label reading 1B
It is a slightly older Duncan, probably late 90's or early 00's
