I just picked up this 2004 American off Craig's List yesterday. I always wanted an Olympic White Strat and the price on this one was too good to pass up. It was pretty grimey but cleaned up nice. The pickguard had at one point been drilled out to hold a Roland Synth pickup, so I pulled it off and replaced it with a new Fender piece. Too bad too because the old one had really faded nicely. Anyway, it's stone stock and all it really needed was a cleaning and a set up.

I'm very pleased with it. It plays nice and sounds like a Strat should. This is the first American Strat that I've owned with the two point trem and I must say, I really like it! While I like the look of the vintage trem, I always found them difficult to get working properly and I always ended up locking them down for tuning stability. The two point design to me, while not as sexy as the vintage trem, definitely works better. I'm pretty sure I will leave this one functional. So here it is!
