I cannot confirm Paul Allen as the purchaser, but I will deny it was either me or you! Anyway, Mr. Allen is a likely suspect, but that seemed like pure speculation.

Allen being one of the usual suspects, I'll be out in Seattle on 4/22. If get a shot at visiting the EMP again, I'll look for it. Sadly, when I last visited there, the Brownie had been relegated from a respectable display case with all kinds of 'candy' reminiscent of D&TD, to a lowly glass box in the big guitar room. Uffff!!!!

Gee, other than Jimi's Strat, what rates over Brownie? I gotta get out there sometime.

When is the Sunny season in Seattle?

What rates is a realty which might be described as 'local boy makes good'. There's a not only a rather large display devoted to Hendrix, but others recognizing Pacific Northwest artists such as The Kingsmen, and Paul Revere and The Raiders, to mention two.

That's quite a guitar sculpture they have out there, and more impressive in the flesh. As for time of year, I would say that July and August are lovely.
