it is so worth the purchase price, you can find them on the bay for a few bucks less than new or Barnes & Noble has them on their web.

and the extras are pretty cool too.

i agree with blues bondsman...i have not been able to stop listening to the royal albert hall reunion concert since it came out, and seeing ec and his band this summer in Indianapolis really reminded me of a lot of the older recordings.

I got my box set used, no poster, however there was a sealed package of copies of hand written notes from the time the recording was done.

I have yet to open it and read it.

and "EC was Here" is another of my favorites too.

IMHO the guitar solo in "Ramblin" off that CD is a 'storm'!!....and open that packet....you'll find the info therein fascinating.

I dont think they miked up small amps for shows back in those days.

Fender clones: Sunn or Musicman, perhaps. Memory fails me.
'Layla' was done through a Fender Champ. :P
