Didn't realize just how much they were going for. I noticed the placement of the top left strap button was in a odd position. Was this where it was normally placed back in the day?

I noticed that the 12th dot spacing is weird too, looks far apart :?:

The spacing is perfectly normal.

The mounting point for the upper strap button does seem wonky though.

The dot spacing did start out wider.

That strap button does seem to be more around the horn than most.
That's individual variation for you.

Guitar's not coming up on the link but the last original I handled at Fretted Americana in 2011 was tagged at $40K.
