Guess so.

I thought that he was gonna use a black input and black bridge and black tuning machines on the black one, but oh well.

I like the way the white one looks and the pickup switching seems interesting

He created interest in the 57 reissue strat and lace sensor pickups.

Also he can shred when he feels like it.

Tom DeLonge got one for less than that.

What did John Mayer do other then play SRV licks?

Ok, I'll bite. Guess what dude. SRV didn't invent those licks either.

Nope, not him either. Not Trower. Not Clapton.

That's a bit of a stretch.

Have you ever heard Robert bend strings? No you have not. The guy played fingerstyle countermelody and tuned up to F

Everybody likes to credit him for everything, but the buck has to stop somewhere

Back to the guitar .... it looks like a souped-up Highway One hardtail.

If the Geddy Lee Jazz Bass was a strat, that's what it would look like. Very 70's looking guitar there. Color scheme and all. I still hate that fat headstock.

Okay, here's a pic of the white version

I'm not a big fan of black pickguards, unfortunately.
