Hi!
I found this beautiful but mysterious stratocaster for sale.
Pictures;
Front: http://imgur.com/RrqfdwZ
Back: http://imgur.com/bkVGrOi
Case: http://imgur.com/7DmF7kR

Color: probably "Olympic White"
SerialNumber: V150100
Case: G&G "the original Vintage case Co." Made in U.S.A

The seller claims it's a Fender Stratocaster Deluxe FSR from 1986 with gold factory upgrades, but I doubt it's accurate.
The first thing I noticed was the back plate with the SN:V150100. From the Fenders Product Dating it seems like the guitar is from somewhere around 85/86, which was the time where Fender only made Reissue Stratocasters with parts from the Fullerton plant.
Second thing I noticed was the 6 point tremolo.
Third was the G&G case.

I'm definitely not an expert on Stratocasters, but my guess would be it's an American 1986 Stratocaster '62 Reissue. But I'd really like some help from you guys to identify the model of this beautiful strat.

Thank you in advance!

Too many frets to be a '62 re-issue.

Can't tell a lot by those pics, but a 62 also wouldn't have the skunk stripe on the back.

Yeah, a reissue stratocaster should have 21 frets, and this one seem to have 22...

Here are 2 more pics of the guitar...

Why is the headstock pic so small? I think that I know why.

Is that a tortoiseshell pick guard? If so my mate has a mim deluxe strat that has an identical body. It has noiseless Pups as standard.

With 22 frets, it's obvious that the guitar's neck has been swapped out.
