I posted this in the pickups and accesories forum 2/20, but have yet to get a response.....I realize that I could just yank the PGs on both and compare, but it seems more "guitar friendly" to ask here 1st

long story short.....never quite thrilled w/the N3s in my '10 Amer.Dlx. SSS Strat. but I like the S1 system.
recently bought a Classic Player 60s w/the CS69 set & i'm absolutely shickled titless w/this set.
my question: if I replace the N3s w/a new set of 69s, will I be able to wire straight in & keep the S1 setup.(meaning, do they have the same # of wires) or will I have to break out the old "creative wiring diagrams" to do this?
if not, i'll probably ditch the S1 because the difference in p'ups will get the Deluxe outta the case and into the amp a LOT more.
as it should be......

thanks in advance for any help y'all can render !!

and since nothing happens w/o pics....

The only problems that I foresee is the introduction of noise, possibly poor sound with the S1 engaged, and maybe an imbalance of sound that might be relieved with pup height adjustments. Otherwise it should be doable. Some noiseless pups have an extra ground wire, just ignore it when changing pups.

Yep as shimmilou says definitely doable.
3 pickups on at once can't be all bad!
The 69s do not have a reverse wound reverse polarity so you should not run into any out of phase issues.
From memory the 69 have different magnetic polarity than the scns but I have yet to check the N3 s out but assume these are similar so maybe don't mix and match.
I often recommend taking a couple of photos before you start so if it goes wrong you have something to refer to.
Pics will always get you further on this forum so thanks for sharing! :D
