Ahh, this thread takes me back to my school days, when I would pick up a pencil in my left hand and the nuns would crack my left hand with a ruler! Saying that was the work of the devil! And if those same nuns saw me today with a slide in my RIGHT HAND(playing Free Bird), they would say "You made good use of that right hand my son"!

Personally, I think being a lefty is pretty awesome...it sets us apart... I mean, i'm a lefty playing a righty guitar, but still, it's cool! However, I think the idea of flipping a lefty guitar would be pretty cool...hey, I could do that and be able to tell people that I DO play a left handed guitar! lol

As a lefty, I also have scars from the nuns.

I totally agree! But playing a "righty" flipped is alot harder than playing a lefty! I played for a living in the seventy's and early eighty's. And I played a flipped Strat. When I bought my first "Lefty" in 88 I couldn't believe how much easier it was to play! Then I started buying more lefty's. BUT...Back in the seventy's , Lefty's were'nt much of an option! In 1978, I tried to buy a 25th anniversary Strat ( left hand), the price was astronomical!!! Not the $100 over cost you pay today!
