I remember when those guitar first came out. Seem to recall that Jimmy pretty hands on about the the whole thing. He wanted a guitar that anyone could afford, not just people with lots of money to blow. Also, I think he toured with these guitars. Last observation from my memory. Wasn't his model the first with tex-mex pickups?
