That old bumper sticker still holds true, Hungry? Eat your import.

The logic behind that ideology is overwhelming...

Actually it is....

The idea is that money has already been sent to the foreign manufacturer, so buying used is not supporting the foreign economy, it's supporting the guy that needed to unload it.

But, it doesn't really matter, as the same few rich people are probably getting the money no matter where a product is made. :o

Hi guys :) been a long time,
I'm still all about the same thing... Keeping American dollars in America to keep American brothers and sisters working. So if I buy new I try to buy USA first. If you guys don't thats cool cuz it's America freedom of choice and all. Just remember karma sucks and so do lay offs.

Oh bye the way Lou my relatives came here in the 1700s, two Craven brothers they would be what ya call fore fathers but that has nothing to do with my crusade... Just sayin ;)

Yep, exactly that logic I meant. The elephant is already dead, so it's OK to buy ivory.

Yeah I totally agree with that, If your buying an import used who cares. Then it just boils down to is it quality? I bought a bunch of Ibanez 7 strings a few years ago. I was in a band doing 7 string stuff. They were great guitars. Ended up giving them to my boy he is a KoRn head.

If I buy new its going to be a Fender American Special because Im a 70s head mostly anyway.

Even if you buy the import with an American name like Fender the American company gets the kick back.

For me the Mexican just wasnt as good as the American Special. The American Special is my favorite the ones with 3 single Texas Specials are great.
