Both my guitars are named after my grandfathers.

My tele is named Jules in memory of my dad's father (Julien) who passed away around the same time that i finished building it.

My strat is Jake for my mom's father (Jacques).

p!

I was going to name my acoustic guitar Frog, because of it's greenish color. My electric is named Ziggy.

All have names, but the one I believe has my deceased Brother's mojo is the "10 year old". I purchased this strat the year he passed, and the day it came home I took it apart looked at the butt stamp and it was his birthday 10 AUG.
I'm like whoa!. I've thought about selling it many times, came VERY close on one occasion. All I know is everytime I've thought of selling it, and I kid you not with what I'm about to say, I get some of the best sound out of it. The damn things plays as if it's knows I'm thinking of selling it, and gives me that "no way can you sell me vibe". Maybe it's mental, or emotional (he was my only one), but I'm not in the position to question.......just believe. By the way it's named "Lil Bro' ".
