anybody like the new reissues? they look like money. I'm in the market for a new strat. caught up between the '56 and '65. '59 looks wonderful too, but the 56 and 65 both mean something to me. I was really wanting a classic black maple, but that red on rosewood looks nice.

I've played both of those particular models and while I liked each, the '65 just felt more comfortable to fret and sounded a bit warmer and more full-bodied. They're both excellent instruments though.

yeah its a tough choice, for me its almost down to something as superficial as the fact I like the spaghetti logo on the '56. mostly because I want a maple board though.

that shell pink is tantalizing.

They are a great choice if you missed out on a Custom Shop 56 NOS ...
I'd consider one of the 56's....

Hi, I ve just bought a 65 weeks ago and i can say that´s a enormous guitar. It sounds great on my 95 Blues Deluxe.
Mine is normally Olympic White but the color is between the 59' faded sonic blue and the olympic white, great color.
