Can anyone tell me more information on this mexican strat I have? I just know it's from 1998-1999. The saddles say Fender on them as well. It's red flake with a mirror pickguard that I am sure is not original. I can answer any questions anybody has. Thanks!

Garden-variety MIM Standard Strat built in 1998, with a non-standard pickguard.

You've pretty much nailed it.

1998, not 1988? MN stands for Mexico Nineties and the first cypher is the year in that decade?

Thanks! What was the retail of it back then? I'd guess $400-$500?

Probably about three hundred and fifty bucks.

Thanks. I don't know why I did not ask this up front instead of asking what it cost new, but what is a fair selling price for this? I haven't bought or sold any guitars in years and I would consider myself out of touch.
