This guitar is in the classifieds for 223€
It says Squier standard series on the headstock but I've never seen a standard like this. At first I thought it's an FSR standard but the guy says it's been in the gigbag for years and it looks like it hasn't been played a lot.

Is it worth the money?

If people are going to fake a strat, they'll usually put a Fender sticker on the headstock, and the fact this one is painted to match the body is in its favour for authenticity I think.

However, I've never seen anything like that with a Squier sticker on it. Is that a 'Duncan designed' humbucker? As for price, if it's real it is probably worth a little bit more than a normal Squier strat, not massively though.

Thanks a lot, so if I understand correctly it's a little better than a Squier Standard

I understand that the Squire Standard is Indonesian and probably made between 2000 and 2005. The serial number will be IC plus 9 digits.

Better? I don't know, but it's a nice looking guitar. If properly set up, I'm sure it'll hold its own.

well better because of the Duncan humbucker, other than that it has the same specs
It looks nice and I guess it's a great platform for modding, maybe with good pickups, it could be an awesome axe...

Well it is a copy of Seymour Duncan design ("Duncan Designed") and they seem to be decent enough. Maybe not as nice as an actual Duncan, but probably better than what you'll find in may lower priced guitars.

I don't know much about The squires, except I bought my son one as his first guitar.

But I like your guitar, Looks really cool. Get a good set up and play till your fingers bleed.
Enjoy.
