I bought the attached guitar back in 2003 from the States. I had my guitar valued just under 10 years ago and got 2 different values, 1 of £1350 and the other of £850.

I thought I'd post this here to see if anyone else had any idea as to what it's worth.

the serial no from the picture is V061590 as it is slightly blurred in the picture. I believe it to have been made in 1992.

thanks in advance.

Hi browny62, welcome to the Forum.

£1350 sounds high to me. But right now I'm not finding enough direct comparisons to your guitar on sale our side of the pond to make a useful comparison, and my guesswork is probably not what you need.

So if I were you I'd put in a quick friendly call to Vintage & Rare Guitars and ask them if they can suggest a ballpark figure. Give them the idea you might put the sale their way and perhaps they'll be helpful (though maybe they'll insist they have to see the instrument in person). Your Strat is neither rare nor actual vintage, but they do sometimes resell modern re-issue models as well, so they'll know this bit of the market.

Here they are:

Not an answer, but a route to an answer.

Good luck - C

The replacement cost would be what a new one costs, for your guitar with case etc I'd expect to pay around 1000 top end. I bought a 91 57ri for 850 last year with case and extras. The early Corona made guitars are not as vintage accurate as the post 98 and current models or as collectable as Fullerton made reissues. Still great guitars though.
