Wondering if anybody can tell me which examples of the currently offered U.S. and/or Custom Shop Stratocasters are regarded as having the fatter neck shapes, and the heavier bodies.

Currently own a wonderful 2008 MIM Lonestar (alder body, modern "C" neck), which is great, but I still want a fatter neck shape & heavier body if its out there.

Thanks

Look into one of these.

The Nocaster neck profile, one of the greatest-feeling neck shapes of all time, has never been offered on a Stratocaster until now. The ’60 Stratocaster No-Neck melds classic Stratocaster tone with the feel and playability of a large, rounded Nocaster neck. Thanks CF.

As for heavy, I don't think Fender markets a heavy bodied guitar. (If they did weight relief like Gibson, then you'd look for one without it, but they don't.)

Some retailers list the weights, so that could help. Look for ash, that seems to run heavier than alder, but you're probably going to have to try them out yourself.

You might be able to source a recently-discontinued '62 AVHR neck from Stratosphere, a store on ebay which parts out guitars. While I have not played this model I understand it has a very fat neck.

Just returned a Jimmy V
Neck was a V
Now my American Std Strat has a C neck, it is perfect size wise
Check out a Gibson with the super slim neck's they are so small your thumb sticks up in the air over the neck
