I have recently bought the electric guitar in the attached photos. The person I bought it off said they bought it 15 to 20 years ago. Am I looking at a Fender Stratocaster and if so, what year? Also the head of the guitar is black with no sticker. Maybe it has been painted but to me it looks like a Fender Strat. I would appreciate your help in identifying the guitar. Thanks

Did anyone say that it's a Fender?
Not so much a fake, as a Strat style guitar of unknown origin.
I hope you didn't pay too much. String it up and see how it plays.

Goodonya ...Mark.

It's an "SLO"......Strat-like object.

No relationship whatsoever to FMIC or its subsidiaries and affiliates.

Not likely.

Prolly tucked his tail and headed back to the barn.
