Hi everybody!
The pickup 2 of my (new) Stratocaster has very much less gain than the pickups 1 and 3. Is this normal/ok?
Thank you for your feedback.

Hi patrick55,

Have you tried adjusting the height of that pup?

Thank you shimmilou!
My guitar is still under warranty, and I may not adjust it for the moment. The 3 pickups seem at the right height and are already very close to the strings.
But with your answer, it seems that this low gain for pickup 2 is not quite normal. I will contact Fender support.

Can you measure the DC resistance? That could tell you if it has broken.

It could be something as simple as a partially-severed wire, a bad pickup selector, or a cold solder joint. Let an authorized Fender service center take a look at it -- likely, it's a very minor issue.

I agree, by this posters comments its obvious they should not be under the hood.
Sometimes I think its best to let qualified service individuals do their job. No matter how much we inform someone if they dont know what they are doing it only makes matters worse.
Like telling someone who has never changed a spark plug hey it might be your fuel filter.
;)
