Agreed - and I agree with trying a full size 'bucker - I have a Duncan JB (SH4) in a Strat bridge position and the attack as well
as harmonics are great - 'in your face' attack goodness. :wink:

Yeah I always give the pickup space too.
I think those hot rails are over raited I run an Atomic in my Highway 1 and a Hot Rod in my American Deluxe.
Both Fender full sized meduim output pickups and they sound monsterous.

I am confused. "Attack" is normally associated with compression. In fact some compression pedals have this as a setting. You can also create more "attack" by well, attacking the strings with the pick.

I have never heard of attack as a reference point to setting up a guitar.
