can anyone plz help me verify if this is an authentic fender guitar ive tried checking the serial number on a few dif sites and nothing recognizes it the serial number on the base of the neck reads
Made in japan and under that is is jd12012678

any asistance would be greatly apreciated thanks

It's an alder-body '62 re-issue, and a damn nice one at that. Unmolested and in above-average condition.

Were I in the market, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy it.
