I've played the SRV so I know the size and shape of that one. How do the size/shape of the others compare? How much bigger than the American Standard in order to the biggest?
Also, if anyone has played a PRS pattern regular neck, which comes the closest.
I'm looking for a neck bigger than the American Standard but smaller than the SRV.

There's probably very few guys that have played all three of them. Maybe Bueller has. I've played a new Jeff Beck a couple of years ago and didn't find the neck all that large. I nearly bought one but ended up getting an Am Dlx HSS. But I can't compare it to an SRV or Mayer. Sorry.

That's OK. I thought there might be someone from Fender who could answer.

Here's a point of view which you might consider. The American Standard neck is what Fender calls the 'modern C'. That is a generic neck carve whose specs were developed with a specific goal in mind, in particular, a rounded shoulder with a played in feel, different from their classic "C" shape an example of which can be found on the Gilmour. When it comes to Artist/Signature series guitars, each of those necks has a different 'personality'. Your quest for something bigger between an MIA STD and the SRV suggests to me that you might want to audition a Mayer Artist Series guitar, or a '59 Stratocaster in terms of feel. Also, try any guitar with a U-neck carve. Your quest for something 'bigger' between an MIA Std and an SRV might be found in a '57 Vintage Hotrod. Not the current new models..the one with the Hotrails neck pickup. It is a modified v-neck. They get chunkier from there, and Fender is using necks with composite radiuses as well, which changes the playing 'feel' as one goes higher on the board. A Deluxe with their generic V-neck, the Eric Johnson, or the 10/56 neck on the American Vintage Strat, which is the chunkiest of the lot, might interest you in terms of bulk, but find them moreso than the SRV. You might find the Clapton too sleek and v-shaped, then again, you might not but give it a go. It's definitely unique among the lot As for the PRS...I've owned two...an '08, and a '94 whose necks I did not care for, nor the necks on the Santana or the SE's. The new neck carve is something I have no experience with, but I suspect it is 'apples and oranges' compared to anything Fender produces. Good hunting, friend. Let us know what you end up with in terms of preference.
