Hello,

If tuning down a half step, should the bridge height be adjusted to compensate since the strings are being loosened a bit? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Best regards,

James

Well if you like the bridge to float then yes you may need to change it a little bit. I have my bridge tightened down all the way with 5 springs in the back so that the bridge is flat against the body.

If you are going to use this guitar just for Eb (1/2 step down) tuning it would be advisable to do a complete setup on it in that tuning.
