The fretwire is small vintage-spec and the board's radius is 7.25" from nut to heel.

^ Thats what I thought. Sounds painful, requires a lot of upper body strength.

Absolutely.

That's why Jimi Hendrix found it necessary to work out on a Nautilus machine six times a day and take double doses of anabolic steroids with every meal. His biceps and triceps would put those of Charles Atlas or even Arnold "Stang" to shame.

Seriously, there's nothing at all wrong with a vintage-spec Strat or its vintage-spec neck and frets.

Arnold Stang was kinda badass. Everybody knew, ya dont ever wanna cross him. No, sirree. Woody Strode had hair, til he messed with Stang. Heston was afraid of him, so was Holden. Ladies loved him though, and why not, he was hung like a musk ox. You know Rita Hayworth lost her mind. Now you know why.

Small frets are difficult. Bigger is better. My MIJ Tele had frets like an acoustic guitar. Finally had it refretted. Much better.

If you're fine with speed bumps then you're fine with speed bumps.

Fender offers them only to keep the neanderthals comfortable.
