I kind of shied away from this Forum for a while because of this kind of stuff with Mr Firestorm AKA a ton of other user names. Kind of sad to see people doing it again. If it was just joking around, it is one thing. But of you guys are serious, then that is another.

I've met some really interesting, well informed and cool people on this forum, so lets keep it civil around here.

The strat is a very versatile guitar. i can't see why they don't offer guitars with any and every pickup combination. I'd certainly be interested in a dual humbucker, mahogany body strat. I'm sure there's one kicking around out there somewhere.

If you can cope with a single coil in the middle of the humbuckers the modern player strat is available in a mahogany bodied HSH config.

Yep, but it's about an HHH Strat we're talking.

FYI Fender has also an American Deluxe with such config….

Maybe a Strat sized rails humbucker in the middle? Or are you meaning 3 full sized humbuckers? I think there is a gap in the range for one. Also an S1 switch for coil tapping :)

Hey gents, let's just be cool on this. I'm glad to see Xhefri back and don't want to see him split because of some bad vibes and name calling. Fender Strats appeal to people of all types of musical tastes, so we're bound to get some differences of opinion, in which case how about we just agree to disagree?

Yeah, it didn't take long to find one of those. I'd don't mind the middle single pup at all.

Ibanez have that HSH config- I have that same on my Heartfield Talon and it actually is a very versatile setup. As long as the middle single coil is well matched to the humbuckers you can get a wide array of tones :)
