Well... You do get what you pay for...

Mrs. LMN is a Gem and I'm always very attentive to her needs and wants. 8)

In return, she vigorously supports my hobbies and interests.

For example, I collect/restore classic sports cars, often spending lots of time away in the garage.

Rather than fight it, our 1st Xmas together, she gave me a Lawn Chair and a Boombox. Somewhat confused, I said: " Umm... They're really nice dear..."

She replied: "Since you spend so much time in the garage, I can come out, sit on the chair, read my books and listen to music... but at least we're spending time together..."

Gotta love a woman like that !!

cheers!

Reminds me of my wife when we were dating. I was into restoring antique cars and street rods. She would come out and scrape the greasy oil off my engine for me! And should also sit patiently at band practice and listen to me play with the guys for hours. Not bad eh? But she's gotten older she doesn't pay any attention to my guitars, and that might be because I have quite a number and they're coming and going quite a bit. 8)

What ..spouse deafness?!?!?. Why, it's a syndrome wherein anything one spouse thinks, says, or does is allowed to completely pass by the other.

It possesses it's own characteristic hand sign...not unlike the the Vulcan sign of farewell and goods wishes. In this instance, an upraised and facing palm, as would a traffic officer directing a vehicle to stop, acoompanied by the words: "Talk to the hand!"
