In common - both are musical.

Doing - performing and recording.

Happy Holidays!

Take care Xhefri, and everyone else :D we don't celebrate thanksgiving here but we do celebrate drinking cold lagers, ales and cooking steaks & sausages on a barbie on a searingly hot afternoon getting sunburnt.. Just for one year, I'd love to one day have a white Christmas.

Look out and drive carefully- don't drink and get behind the wheel, I'm guessing this time of the year there will be ice on the roads up in the north Uk, Europe, Canada and US of A.. Give a nod to the police & emergency workers who sacrifice their family time to look after us in this jolly season

I'm not going to say merry Christmas yet because I know everyone is gonna stick around a bit yet..

Does anyone here put Christmas lights on their homes? Would love to see pics... :)

LOL, Yes from time to time I need to be reminded of the Kiwi/Ozzie "summers". I was just in Fiji on a overnight layover and there was a ton of Ozzie and Kiwis. Then in Vanuatu one I commented on that and also how blasted hot it was out and our Ozzie worker looks at me and says, "You know Jeff, you're south of the equator now!" Like duh! LOL Summer vacations and temps. Must be weird singing Christmas songs in the summer? Have a good one Blertles and always appreciate your posts!

Funny that. I went over to Brisbane a few months back in the middle of our winter, and I ended up getting burnt to a crisp. While locals were walking around in jeans and sweatshirts.. Complaining about the cold. Sometimes we have an absence of an ozone layer which speeds up the burn time here.. But Christmas is all about spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and enjoying the summer. It would be strange Jeff, but I think you'd like it  thanks too- we all appreciate your posts also :D

No one has guitar plans for the holidays???? Some people gig over Christmas and New Years. I will personally be working on some custom builds and also have been playing my Martin quite a bit (I know, I know, this is a Fender forum!!!! ), but the truth is, the more I play my Martin, the better I play my Strat! It builds calluses and strong fingers!

The boards have been sort of slow here lately.
We are not gigging again until after the Holidays. Late Jan early Feb.
Will fire up the Ted Nugent Tribute, be playing the circuit again then.
Just practice and resting until then.

Happy holidays to everyone, too.

Just got invited to sit in with a friend's band on December 14 called Powerflex 5. Really talented blokes. One of the guitar players is the guitar tech for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They'll usually invite a a bunch of different people to sit in on different songs.

I've only been playing guitar a 2 or 3 years now but have been playing piano/organ forever. We're practicing tomorrow and I'm hoping to do at least 2 guitar/singing songs and 2 or more piano songs. We'll see how it goes based on how much everyone is willing to do and how many new songs they feel like learning. I'll let you know!

That sounds cool. Have a blast! It's always nice to Rock for the Holidays.
Hopefully everyone's Turkey Day (for those who celebrated) was fun.

Wishing Everyone All The Best this Holiday Season

My plan is to paint my precision body when my cans come in from reranch now that here in Tidewater the humidity levels have gone down. Painting during the summer is a definite no!
