I finally got the front done...doing the sides later. I know that a pick guard will cover some of the art work but when I get a bare piece of wood in front of me It's hard to stop. Plus, I see where there's clear pick guards so the buyer has yet another option after they get it home, right?

Hi again T-Bone: you can buy transparent pickguards. And in this case it would be a real shame to do anything else. Like this, for example:

And of course other pickup configurations are available.

Anyway. Lovin' your work! Keep it coming - I have a feeling there's a long, fun way to go with this trip! Respect. :)

Cheers - C

Thanks for the link, Ceri, and kind words from everyone.

Once the edges are done I'll post the completed guitar.

Do I interpret some of your comments to mean that you made this body from a slab of wood?

Bro....cudos from Ceri is like winning the Nobel Prize. I won't go into all the details as to why. Just take my word for it.

Very Nice. Did you make the body as well and if not what manufacturer made it?
