Has anyone ever done business with Sigler 920D Custom Shop?
They take MIM Strats and Teles and upgrade the PUPS, tuners and bridge. Some of these sound great from what I've seen on YouTube.

The Strat I'm interested in from them has Duncan P-Rails with all kinds of splitting and tapping settings. The sounds from this guitar are incredible.

They also file down the rough fret edges and check the action and intonation.

Figured I'd ask around for reviews or advice about them.

Thanks for your help!

Though I recommend their website as a source for modding, I have yet to see any feedback from the Forums. How bad could a custom wired pickguard be? They're still in business.

It's not just a loaded pickguard.
I'd be buying a MIM guitar from them which they have installed the loaded pickguard.
They're asking $799.00 for it.
Seems like a fair price considering all the work and modifications.

They are also all over eBay, you cant do a search for a pickguard without seeing 200 of they're auctions.

That's pretty much how I found them. Then when I saw the modified guitars they sell, I became interested.

No Mods you could not do yourself, plus you get the replaced parts.

The phrase "Custom Shop" is becoming severely overused recently. All these people are doing is fititng pickguards and replacing pickups, I don't see how that equates to being any kind of "custom shop". It's something anyone with a screwdriver and a soldering iron can do.

You took the words right out of my keyboard man. A custom shop is like Warmoth.
This is a pickup swap shop.

Exactly!

This is the first I have heard about this company. It is not for me.

But there is a market for them.

Ive done business with them. Got a loaded pickguard w/ Dmarzio injector/67/injector... Was a really nice job clean soldering.Couldn't be happier with the job they did. Ive never gotten a guitar from them though.
You might want to check out http://www.acmeguitarworks.com/ too. I got a ToneShper from them that i added to the pickguard and it is great!!! Acme does setup MIMs and they are a great bunch of guys too...
