Hello everyone ... I want a piezo system for good acoustic tones for petruccish style music . I don't know if it exists but it could be better if it is a passive one , no batteries .

I have heard that fishman has a complete tremolo power bridge , but is there any other system instead of changing the bridge ?

The problem with piezo pickups is that their output is very low compared to a magnetic pickup and they do tend to need a preamp with a high input impedance in order to drive any length of guitar cable without losing output.

Have a look at the Graphtech Ghost systems ...

Or a Nashville Power Tele which has a built in Fishman system and the magic word "Fender" on the headstock. Both of those options need battery power though.

Yep.

Not to mention that if a person chooses to run a piezo without a preamp the signal strength will not only be very very low but the tone will be excruciatingly bright. I did that once with an acoustic guitar back in my teens. Installed a piezo without a preamp. Wired it straight to the endpin jack I also installed. Oh my God it was bright. It was painful.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
