Hi there. My first post here. A few days ago I bought me a new Fender Stratocaster and love it. I wish I played it better. Just need some practice and patiences. This Strat is a more than enough for me to start learning to play again. I haven't picked up a guitar in like 20 years. This time I went all black! It's on order now. So I have the sunburst to hold me over until the all black one arrives.

It's just a beginner guitar for me. I just want to learn to riff and play with my buddies.

I'm pretty excited to have found this forum. I did lots of research and it was between a Gibson Les Paul and the Fender Strat. Played both in my new orange amp and the Fender just sounded more crisp then the Gibson for some reason. I was sold and was loving it. My new Orange amp is only a 20w but it works for me and actually sounds pretty damn good. I was surprised.

I look forward to learning from some of you tips and tricks in the Fender Strat realm. Thanks for the warm welcome!

As long as YOU like the tone, that is all that matters and never let anyone else tell you different :!:

No influence here. It's all about me and my Strat. I do what I want. Play what I want and enjoy it. :)

Nice guitar you gotta have, old chap.

Photos are a good starting point, but I would be glad to see your baby in action! Post some cool videos if possible.

Love the Git !!

Hate the amp !!

I know... I own one and now use it exclusively for my Drum Box.

It may be all you have or can afford right now, and that's Cool.

But once you get a nice Tube Amp (the Bugera V5 is <$200USD), you'll likely hate it too !

Be sure to post pics of the New Guitar !!

Congrats ! 8)

cheers!

I prefer to not post a video because I'm not fond of webcams.

Posting a couple of shots of myself playing the strat is a tedious job: you'll need having four hands to press the capture button while playing!

To be honest, that Squier is my brother's guitar. I play it occasionally.

Yes......

It's oh-so-tough to ask someone to shoot a photo of yourself while playing your guitar......

That is, if you actually own one and know how to play.
