ive made my first post about this on strat-talk. and i thought id post here aswell. in short, i was rummaging through my garage and stumbled upon my stratocaster in a padded gig bag sitting between two shelving units. i almost totally forgot about it. my parents bought it for me when i was freshman in highschool. played it for quite a bit over the first several months. then never touched it again. i decided to blow all the dust off and get it back to how it was when i first had it. the tuners, jack output, and volume knob need a little polishing up, along with the fret board, and body if i want to go the extra step. i just recently stringed it with some ernie ball cobalt regular slinkys. im going to follow the steps in the stratocaster setup guide in the support section to make sure its correctly tuned without a buzz. here are some pictures i took once i finished installing the new strings.

iirc, i believe i paid around $400 from a local guitar center to get it from another guitar center out of state. theres two nicks on the body. so its still in rather good condition. i dont plan on selling it anytime soon. but do you guys think that it has raised in price at all? just curious. but none the less. once i get it setup completely. i cant wait to start the learning process all over again. atleast this time around, ill be more dedicated to playing.

Well, if you search the "sold" (not ended) auctions you can get a good idea....like this (sold last week):

A nice find in your garage. Now you have to start playing that thing.
