OK If Im thinking right there was no reverse middle in the 70s Strats.
They were basically like CS-69s?
They were just phasing in 5 ways so most had 3 ways?
I do remember the guy at Swift Music Repair was really proud he had installed a 5 way.
I bought a 76 in June of 1980 well my mom did for my 16th birthday.
I cant really remember I know it was 5 way but I don't remember if it was reverse wound middle.
It wasn't right?

Right, they had 3-ways, no rp/rw middle, and were similar to the '69s (approx 5.7K ohms and 2.2 H).

IIRC the 5-way came in the late 70s. I don't know when the first rp/rw came in.

Thanks I was looking at Jamguys strat he built and when he said he used a RW middle...
I was like I don't recall, but that was 33 years ago also.
